Anterior Hip Replacement and Robotic Surgery - Presentation by Mr Blackmore

Our in-house Orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Shane Blackmore recently did a talk for young surgeons interested on learning about Anterior Hip Replacement and Robotic Surgery.

Dr Blackmore has been utilising the Direct Anterior Approach since 2014. He performs DAA almost exclusively on all hips, including revisions and used an ‘off-table’ approach.

Dr Blackmore operated at St Vincent’s private East Melbourne and holds a public appointment at the Austin Hospital.
